Filing a notice (takedown)

Your notice must include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) identification of the infringing material and where it appears (e.g., the beer number or a screenshot); (3) your contact information; (4) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner; (6) your physical or electronic signature.

On receipt of a valid notice we will remove or disable the material promptly and notify the user who posted it.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice containing: your contact information; identification of the removed material; a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief the removal was mistaken; consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, the Southern District of Florida); and your signature. Unless the complainant files a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated. Misrepresenting a notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages under §512(f).
